We sell carbon fiber tubing to commercial users alike. And while we offer to cut tubes to specific lengths, we get the fact that customers sometimes have to cut tubes themselves, but also some customers need to polishing service.
Cutting Carbon Fiber Tubes:
There are many ways to cut carbon fiber tubing. We use a cutting machine to cutting tubes to the correct lengths.
First, adjust the required cutting length in the machine
Second, fix two ends of the tubes
Third, start cutting machine to cut tubes while cooling the cutting temperature with water
Polishing Carbon Fiber Tubes:
Put tubes in a polishing container, and adjust polish thickness, then start to polish one by one automatically, and cool down with water during the polishing process.
Finally, clean the edge: the cut edge may have fibers remaining on the tube or a bit sharp, To clean up the edge, spin the cut edge on a piece of sandpaper or other materials.
