What is the roll-wrapped process?

The roll-wrapped process utilizes prepreg materials, including carbon fiber, fiberglass, kevlar, and hybrids. The process wraps prepregs pattern layers around a metal mandrel and put the wrapped mandrel onto the wrapping machine, it will be automatically wrapped as a tube, then wrapped with a thin plastic film. The plastic film applies pressure and contains the resin during the curing cycle. After the tubes have cured, the mandrel is extracted and the plastic film is removed.

Advantages of Roll Wrapped Process

Maximum Strength and Stiffness – the use of prepreg materials and the ability to precisely control fiber orientation results in maximizing the performance of carbon fiber or composite tubes.

Customization – We produce composite tubes of various dimensions for many applications. Diameter up to 500mm, and length up to 4m.
